The
school project is financed through school fees paid by the parents,
through support money of the Phoksumdo village committee and through
voluntary work and free material of the locals. Donations from
outside the Dolpo region are crucial to ensure the future of the
project and to keep up a high quality and high level of education.
Also the construction and the interior of the schoolhouse and the
wages for teachers are covered by foreign money. So far, donations
from Switzerland and the USA enabled the start of the school. We are
looking for further support in order to guarantee the smooth
continuation of the project and would appreciate further
recommendation. The NGO Tapriza Verein is officially registered as a
welfare organisation and allows tax-free donations.
