This
15-minute film gives an insight into nature and the way of life of the people of Dolpo.
"A Way to Dolpo" portrays everyday life in the school in
a poetic and humorous way. The film was made
by the Italian anthropologist Riccardo Vrech during his
visit to Dolpo in autumn 2004 and kindly given to us for
use. The film was prepared for the internet by
Marck (www.marck.ch)

Visit to the Tapriza School

When
the Tapriza School started in 1998, 38 children wanted
to attend classes instead of the expected 20. Meanwhile
104 pupils are visiting the boarding school. This film
gives a short insight into the daily life at school and
home in Dolpo, a remote district in north west Nepal.
The film was
prepared and edited with the support of Semduk Lama,
Angela Rohrer, Dominik Bürer, Marietta Kind; André Jordi
burnt a small edition of DVDs and
Marck (www.marck.ch)
prepared the film for the
Internet.
