Astronomy Workshop at Tapriza

by Marietta Kind Furger

Scientific information via Astro-Camp including a Telescope. Learning Science Through Practical Activities! Our students are learning how to use a clinometer to measure the height of objects and the distance through hands-on activities.

In our Astro-Camp we received scientific information in an educational and practical program on Astronomy. The organisations Karmflights Foundation Nepal and Pokhara Astro Society organised a worshop for teachers and students at Tapriza School.

Learning Science Through Practical Activities! Our students are learning how to use a clinometer to measure the height of objects and the distance through hands-on activities. By applying scientific principles in real-life situations, they are developing practical skills, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of mathematics and science. At Tapriza School, we believe that learning by doing makes education more meaningful, enjoyable, and effective. Learning by exploring, discovering, and experiencing! It was a great experience.
